Indys Hidden Gem

Very nice!

The location of Indy's Hidden Gem was perfect for the activities we had planned which included attending the drag car races at the Indianapolis Raceway. The property was easy to get to in a quiet neighborhood and fit our need exactly. Sherry was a very warm and gracious hostess making sure we had everything we needed and answering any questions we had. We would highly recommend Indy's Hidden Gem!

There is nothing we didn't like!

Sherry is always a wonderful host and she makes you feel like family! Her place is clean, comfortable and always a delight to stay there.

Sherry was wonderful and friendly when we met the next day.

Sorry to say, Mainly that the shared bathroom was a shock to us, we will never consider such, but the posting said Private Bathroom but it is shared. Second, we arrived a few minutes before the 11 pm deadline after driving all day, but the home [and neighbourhood] was completely dark from street view, which a guest expects to be well-lit as if they are expected. So we were quite afraid that something was terribly wrong, and also could have stumbled on unfamiliar stairs and entrance. We were not sure if we can park our car in driveway. (Only by mail box # and Waze did we feel we're at the right place.) Dave answered the door and seemed a little standoffish and confused, making us feel very unwelcome within ourselves, he soon turned out to be very nice. He was also in the bathroom when my wife needed it badly in the morning, not his fault per se.

Our host was very accommodating. It was our first experience staying in someone's home, and I would recommend the hidden gem to all of friend's who visit India!!

Lovely whimsically decorated cozy home with an excellent, friendly hostess. So much eye candy in the home that it was fun exploring all of trinkets, baubles and collectibles. Location was great for attending the Indy 500, just a short drive.

The minute I walked in the front door…I felt wondrously at home. The property owner’s mind, heart and spirit are reflected wherever you look from luscious plants, to intriguing sculpture, to thoughtful design. The assigned room was clean with a firm bed, mini fridge and complimentary bottled water/hot tea. Shower had great water pressure. Parking was convenient, with shopping and dining options within a couple miles. The host and accommodations absolutely wow’ed - I arrived a stranger and left a friend. :)
