It was right next to the river.

The room was so small you couldn't bring the suitcase in and open it. You had a bunkbed and the passage from the door to the bed. It has room to sleep 3 but you can't even get one suitcase in and there is no closet. Luckily we only stayed one night.

Everything was great. Although we arrived late, that was no problem and Mila and Željko even served us some late drinks. The rooms for overnight stays are clean and well equipped. We spent the whole next day there in the outdoor area. This offers enough space and is directly connected to the river, so that we could swim there. The use of canoes is also possible. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing, comfortable and thanks to the hosts very friendly place at all times, I can't recommend a better place than Hercegovka. We will definitely come back and are already looking forward to it! :)

We had a very pleasant stay at the house! The owner was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is rustic in a rural and lovely setting. We could enjoy a full day of rest in the stunning riverside space of the house, where we could swim (so refreshing in mid summer!) and have a tour with a canoe on the river, included in our stay, with an easy and safe ride to a beach and to see a small waterfall nearby. We enjoyed beers, local spirits and a good breakfast for a small extra. There is also a playground for kids. The room was small but very clean and just as depicted in photos; the bunk beds were comfortable; we had a private bathroom. The WiFi and air-conditioning were well functioning; you can park on the premises very close to the room. I was very happy of my choice and I would recommend it to any of my friends. It is also conveniently located near to popular destinations such as Mostar, Medjugorje and Kravica Waterfalls!

Friendly hosts&a beautiful river

We spent there just one night but it will be good to come back here to stay longer. Very quiet place but near to the city. Good for kids. Here there is a lake with the cristal water where you can swim. There is a bar and the owner is cooking a perfect eggplate with cheese for breakfast. Owners pets are very cute.
