Sehr familiär und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück und auch die anderen Gerichte waren sehr lecker! Alles was man braucht vorhanden.

We voelden ons meteen thuis bij Banana Homestay na het hartelijke ontvangst. Het is een gezellige Homestay met alles wat je nodig hebt. We hebben via Banana Homestay de Mount Ijen trip geboekt wat zeker een aanrader is. Misschien wel het beste aan ons verblijf was het heerlijke ontbijt en de vriendelijke mensen.

Very good value, quiet and characterful homestay. Simple but beautifully designed and has everything you need. Lovely communal areas with seating and views. And Fryda is the loveliest most helpful host you could wish for. She helped us arrange the ferry to Bali and a very well priced car on to Permuteran in Bali. Her food is delicious and all home made -we had breakfast and dinner and both were wonderful. We walked from the homestay to explore Banuwangi and had a lovely evening seeing all the families enjoying street food by Boom beach in the evening after Ramadan, with views of volcano and sunset. We were the only tourists and everyone was very friendly.

Fryda and her family were amazing hosts. They were kind enough to come and pick us up from the ferry and take us to get dinner as we had not eaten all day. The space is very cute and the breakfast is amazing!
