Relatively good location

The owner tells you that it is what it is. However, even if you agree to basically rent one room in an old apartment block with a key and you overlook stuff like grossly overcharging for every little thing (like ironing or washing some clothes), you will need at least a few hours after you pay to figure out that the room is absolutely non sanitary. The towels were smelly and the bedsheets as well. Dust and dirt was all around the room. The mop in the bathroom was filled with hair and dirt. When we tried to clean a little water we spilled on the floor and used the mop there, it left a disgusting patch of hair and dirt. I haven’t personally even been to the kitchen, but my girlfriend told me it was dirty as well. We left the following day and let the landlord(that lives in the same apartment) know that we are. He didn’t say anything. Obviously he doesn’t care about the comfort of his guests and only wants some quick cash. I stayed in other similar rents but they were at least clean. At this price, i’d rather add the extra 5-6$ and rent a normal room with basic amenities like private bathroom and kitchen.

It offered excellent value for the money. The place was clean and well-maintained, the host was very friendly and welcoming, and the location was conveniently close to a bus stop, making transportation easy.

I was disappointed that the owner didn’t respond to my request to rent the iron for just half an hour. I didn’t need it for a full hour, but the pricing was only available by the hour.

Clean room

AC did not work. Owner was kind but also very picky with time and money. 3 minutes before checkout I got a text that I needed to hurry and time is money...
