Big comfortable bed and pillows. Nice seating area outside. Lovely walk down 4 mile beach.

There are 2 locks on the door, which I locked on the first day. When I went to unlock the door, the key that was given to me only unlocked the dead lock and not the other. I was locked out for a while until the owner returned. The owner failed to tell me that the key only unlocked the dead lock. TV didn’t work. Ceiling fan in main room only worked on low or high speed, medium speed didn’t work. 2 towels, face washer and towel mat smelt and felt freshly washed. But I stayed for a week and needed to use the extra towels stored in walk-in robe. They smelt of horrible stale storage smell and I didn’t use them. The coat hangers I had to clean the few that I used. The floor mats were dirty as when I walked on them bare foot, grit would come off onto my feet. This got annoying so I ended up laying the stale towels over the mats. Kitchen utensils weren’t readily available, and I had to ask for things a few times. Internet wasn’t available on two of the nights. Also no privacy outside or in “private pool area” as the owners live within the outdoor area. There double door always open during the day when they’re home. I could here them quite often.

Our host was great. Welcoming and helpful. Clean and lots of room. Just a short walk to the beach, a pub and 2 good eateries. Off street parking.

Privacy compromised by closeness of owners kitchen. The bed was huge but too soft and uneven. Bird life might be a bit much for light sleepers.

A very clean and well-equipped studio set up which was perfect for a our short stay. Our wonderful host made us feel most welcome and went the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed and more

Location was great, very close to the beach and easy access to the city.

Breakfast made my own found place a bit to distant from amenites

Pool a little bigger closer to things as not have to depend on the transport services need own transport or hire car

Reasonable price for Port Douglas. Prema was very helpful

The studio wasn't as clean as we would have liked and didn't have as much privacy as we hoped it would (the location being so close to the owner's house wasn't clear to us when we booked).
