Fantastic little guest house, the little touches around the house really made it! Lovely little village perfect for a seaside trip

The cold setting on the shower wasn't very cold, but this may also be due to the very hot weather this weekend in general!

Andy was the perfect host, very accommodating and loved the little touches and breakfast!

Andy was a wonderful host, great value and good location. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Location was great. Little extras and attention to detail.

Decor was cosy, we felt very taken care of. Complimentary snacks were lovely and the room was scented with lavender. The house was quiet and a wonderful night's sleep.

We were unsure where to put our dishes from breakfast. A savory option for breakfast would be nice too such as cheese or marmite for crumpets.

Never saw host. Intro letter pushed under door day after arrival.Main disappointment was despite framed instructions to guests about no makeup on white towels, the towels werent changed over 4days and no heated towel rail so they became musty smelling. Unsure about oil boiler which emitted fumes on one occasion with a slight smell of emission in our room which was over kitchen. If only staying 1 night or 2 probably would be passable, but for 4 days expected better for the £558 paid. Think we will go back to b&bs with traditional host served breakfasts from now on.

A lovely home from home. Everything is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. There is great attention to detail and the host Andy was always available to answer any questions. The breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice. There are plenty of facilities to cook and make your own food if you wish. Also, there are 2 pubs in the village serving food, and a fish and chip shop across the road. Very well placed for exploring Whitby, Staithes and Runswick Bay. Also, there is a very frequent bus service from just outside the door that connects with the above-mentioned places. Would highly recommend
