Clean and perfectly located for us after visiting the Elephant Sanctuary. Mr Kamarul is very friendly, especially with the kids. He showed us his garden and the animals. The kids loved it.

The owner of this homestay is a wonderful and patient man. He contacted us 2 days before arrival to check we were ok and offered some advice. It is a great location if you are visiting the Malaysia National Elephant Conservation Centre which was a wonderful day (I recommend you take the Educational Guided Tour, just contact them by email at first and they reply in a day or 2. The homestay is in a lovely tropical garden with pineapples, dragon fruit and other amazing plants to see. the owner takes good care of the garden and harvests the fruit so please take care but we were free to explore carefully. The owner even gave us a quick tour of the garden and explained about the plants. A wonderful stay highly recommended.
The location is in a tropical forest area. The weather was hot and humid but the homestay has A/C inside. There were some small lizards around in the garden. Personally I don't mind but please be aware of this. I thought the accommodation was very good value, but don't expect a 5star hotel, it is a homestay after all.
