Nice place, close to te beach but no shop or restaurants after 19 h, when beach is closed

We had very good last night of our stay… I wish I could stay longer. Marianna is super nice and very responsive… and Leo? So adorable! The room was nice & clean… place felt safe and secure- also only a few steps from the Bibijagua beach where you will find everything- relax, food, shopping and start of excursions :) Nice place to be!

There was no such a thing. Everything was perfect! is hard to believe that you can find this quality of service for this kind of money.

The host is exceptionally kind and nice to talk to. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. In case you get more time than I you will benefit from a large kitchen, a nice balcony and a pool in the front yard. The beach is very close by and offers local breakfast options. Uber can get you to the next supermarket and to downtown punta cana.

Marianna is exceptional in her role as a host - Responsive, engaged and consultative. It becomes a kind of family feeling to be here, and I experienced it as very stressrelieving. The area around is safe and sound in daylight and you are 5 minutes walk away from the ocean with restaurants.*¹ You have a 15 minutes walk to a nice foodstore (Super Lama Bavaró) with good prices and an ATM to the right of the entrance. If you decide to be lazy and not doing your own cooking, you could either walk, as I did, and it would take you 40 minutes (10 min by bus*²) to the restaurantsarea in Punta Cana and 40 minutes walk (10 min by bus*²) to downtown Punta Cana where a shoppingmall can be found and an even bigger foodstore (Jumbo) as well. The mainroad, Av. Bavaró, takes you to both of the places in opposite directions of each other. *¹ If you consider to shop at the market at the beach, be aware of fraud. Only pay cash and know the rates from dollar to peso! *²The busstop is 3 minutes walk away from the apartment and will set you back 50 pesos (~$1).

It’s close to a beautiful public beach (the sun loungers are not available if you are not staying in a resort area though). The apartment itself has all you need for a 2-weeks stay. Bed was very good too. I even liked the fact that by default, it’s a “cold” water in shower - even considering that hot water I was available, I still used “cold” one which in fact is very comfortable temperature. Marianna is one of the best hosts I’ve ever had - it’s like you’re visiting a friend! Was a pleasure to stay there. The supermarket is 1.4 km from the apartment. Internet connection is good. The ability to use the kitchen was a big plus for me.

Even though I understand that the housekeeping on the islands is tough, I still believe it needs renovation in a shower room, and kitchen. There is nothing to do in this area, other than the beaches :)) Cafes and bars are in 2.5 km and being a solo traveler, I really didn’t want to take taxi to go for pizza :)) So I enjoyed the sunsets on the beach most of the time.
