Mamina's House

Nancy’s home is a lovely, well-maintained private residence on a quiet street. Since I was the only guest (there is a second room, but it was unoccupied), I had the benefit of the kitchen and bathroom all to myself! Everything was immaculate.

For travellers like myself who enjoy cooking, a bit of oil and a sharp knife would be appreciated.

Loved the homestay. The host Nancy was very helpful. She gave me a briefing about Malta and Maltese cuisine. Free street parking is available. There were few nice authentic Maltese restaurants closer to Mamaina's house. Room facilities were good. Bathroom and Kitchenette were for sharing with the host but it was like private to me.

Nancy's tap water is not drinkable. Advised to bring your own water.

Hele vriendelijke host, met een boek vol tips. Alles keurig netjes. Zeer schoon. En voor die prijs, krijg je heel veel. Je deelt een grote badkamer met daarin toilette met één andere kamer.

Dorpje straalt niet veel uit. Wel 5 restaurants en je bent heel snel bij prachtige natuur. Dus als je wi wandelen en prachtige uitzichten wil zien da ben je daar vrij snel. (ik had een auto gehuurd). Naar het zuiden voor prachtige uitzichten, naar het Noorden voor een paar leuke (ook wel drukke) strandjes.

Zeer ruim comfortabel bed. Stofvrije propere kamer. Mogelijkheid om in gedeelde propere keuken te koken en gratis thee en koffie te nuttigen. Je kan eten in de gang aan een tafel of bij mooi weer op het terras. De gedeelde badkamer was in orde.

Dekbed (donsdeken) voelde plastiekachtig. Tip: evt 2de terrastafel en stoelen voorzien voor als beide kamers willen buiten eten Tip2: is boiler voor warm water voor douche voldoende groot?

Struttura con una pulizia impeccabile, delizioso terrazzino e posizione che fornisce tranquillità e vicinanza per escursioni. La calorosa accoglienza da parte di Nancy è stata molto apprezzata, con tanto di merendine di benvenuto e molte info su trasporti e luoghi di interesse! Cucina e bagno super forniti (tranne asciugacapelli) ed abbiamo particolarmente gradito la possibilità di acquistare vini locali, birra e acqua direttamente dal suo frigo! Ultima nota positiva è stata la possibilità di poter scaldare la stanza con l’aria condizionata (1€ x 4h e 2€ x 8h) anche se a noi non è servito siccome il piumone teneva molto caldo.
