Munroe Heritage Inn

Good location on the island, the bungalow was well equipped with hot water, clean and a good size with a lovely little porch. Suresh was the perfect house, arranging a canoe tour for us and bringing us delicious home cooked food and tea. We liked it so much we stayed an extra night!

Mr Suresh, the host, is one the best humans I met. He received us as if we were long lost relatives, very welcoming. As a host he is top notch we didn't had to worry about anything from the point of reaching Munroe till leaving. He guided us on how to reach Munroe and also how to reach our next destination by spending the lowest. He arranged all the meals(home cooked) for us and it was delicious he had also arranged an island tour which was the most awesome part and that too at a nominal cost. The stay is very beautiful and the room is comfortable and it smelled nice :). I strongly recommend this stay to experience the human connection like no other.

There is nothing to not like.

The room is quite big and really nice as well as the property. The homecooked food was amazing and the hosts were very friendly and always helpful. On my arrival he picked me up from the Trainstation for free and drove me around the area with his motorcycle showing me very beautiful spots. And he arranged a boat tour through canals for the sunrise the next day which was simply stunning and a really good price. All in all an amazing experience which I would highly recommend!

It's a beautiful little place surrounded by greenery just by the river. The host and his family are amazing and will do everything to make you feel comfortable. The room is very clean and spacious. The owner also let me use his bicycle and drove me around to show places. And food is delicious!

The property is absolutely fantastic thanks to Suresh and his family’s warm reception. The room is clean and pristine, located by the river making it easy to get a canoe or boat. Don’t miss the chance to hit this place if available as you’ll also enjoy their homemade delicious food. A great experience and highly recommendable if visiting Munroe Island.

Munroe Heritage Inn Homestay feels like home :) Suresh Chettah (term for elder brother in Malayalam) and his wife, treated us like part of family and made us feel extremely safe and comfortable for the entire duration of our visit. The property is beautiful, well maintained and has a rustic charm to it. They served us home made sumptuous meals- evening tea, dinner and breakfast, and took care of the smallest of our needs. On request, Suresh Chettah arranged for a sunrise canoe tour, an auto to the train station, and even took us around the island for site seeing. Expect only the best hospitality and comfort at Munroe Heritage Inn Homestay. Will.definitely visit again!

Nothing to dislike. I would highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Munroe island.
