Bachan's Casa The Private Pool Villa Cherai

The property is very large and designed for large groups, but we had the all space for ourselves - which was great! We could also use the rooftop terrasse for evening meals. Everything was very clean. Most importantly, Bachan was a very helpful host and even offered us some banana from his garden, as well as delicious and affordable local meals he got for us from neighborhood eateries. We also enjoyed the fact that the property is in a quiet location, 15 minutes walking away from the beach via a very scenic backwater road.

There are limited restaurants/food options nearby, and opening times were a bit unpredictable.

Breakfast was good, the Host made it at home and got it for us.

The first floor doesnt have ACs . In hotter months this would be uncomfortable. Also a basic solar water heater should be there, early mornings in December the water was cold for a bath.
