Wachtelwerkstatt

This was one of our favorite hotels from our most recent bicycle tour. The place was modern, immaculately clean, and built to be comfortable. The rooms are built around a beautiful little courtyard. Breakfast was excellent, and our eggs were delivered by charming little guy who was being closely supervised by our host. Bicycle storage was good, and easily accessible. We would absolutely stay here again.

There was no place for dinner within walking distance of the hotel, but it was easy enough to ride our bikes back into Retz, which had some choices. This minor inconvenience was a small price to pay for staying at such a perfect hotel.

Fantastic accomodation located in a wonderfull village in the vineyards. All is new and clean and very comfortable, great bed with perfect matrass. Very tasty breakfast with home made products and even gluten- and lactosefree choices. We were very impressed!

Great place with an extremely nice owner. Rooms are comfy and spotless and seem recently built. Very clean!

There is one (huge) downside. At night we could hear the guy in the next rooms bathroom very loudly. It felt amplified, like he was in our room. Something went extremely wrong with plumbing/sound proofing.
