Ombak Homestay

The service of the host was awesome. He was attentive and made sure he give us advice on local places for foood and where to see the best sea animals for diving.

Not much

- The name - Doors don’t close - Fan was terrible - Manual Flushing toilet - Things crawling in the roof - Steps made for giants - The mosque was very loud and were woken up

The room was spacious and the ac got really cold ,the snorkeling tour they offered was really good and the staff was helpful

The shower didn’t get hot and the sheets had a few stains on them

Great place to stay on Gili T!! the host was amazing, so accommodating and lovely. The breakfast was really good too! Location is perfect, not too far from anything and walkable distance to the ferry port which is ideal. overall great stay ☺️☺️☺️

Amazing host, great location, great value for money

Bathroom could be a bit better, but nothing dramatic

We loved our stay here! The rooms are simple but have everything you need, the price was great (and included breakfast), the location was superb (just a short walk to the beach and main strip of bars and restaurants), and the staff were amazing - so friendly, kind and helpful.

I didn’t have high expectations due to the photos, however it was a pleasant stay. The staff are really lovely. The beds are comfy. You can higher bikes for the day for £2. The location is perfect (5 min walk to the beach & from the boat stop so you don’t ever have to use one of the poor horses to get around) lots of shops and restaurants near by. We had no issues with any bugs or mosquitoes during are stay which is a massive positive. Although I did have some negatives to this place, I would still return and recommend staying here as all the negatives are minor in the bigger picture.

The room got extremely hot & stuffy due to no air con, you had a fan which was better than nothing. The beds didn’t come with duvets or a sheet. Our room didn’t have towels so had to use our beach towels when showering. Another downside worth noting would be the homestay is located right next to a mosque, no disrespect but we were woken up at 5 am every morning from the speakers which lasted about 30 mins and went off frequently. The bathrooms were also really run down, some fresh paint and a deep clean would solve this tho. I’d personally say it’s not the best value for money but I think this is due to it being located on an island therefore naturally being more expensive.
