Noot's Guesthouse

Good spot had the room with balcony overlooking the street, great people watching perch with supplies from 7eleven straight across the road restaurants and weed shops in either direction, can walk from the train-station or 60thb scooter side-car taxi ride to beat the heat..

Noot is really nice. This accommodations is great if your on a super tight budget or a solo male traveller.

Noot and it is very cheap

Fine place to stay a few nights in Kanchanaburi. It's more of a restaurant than a homestay, but compared to the price it's fine.

Staff doesn't speak English, so it's hard to communicate with them.

Location very central, many restaurants, 7/11, bars, tour operators and bike rental- basically all you need. 15 min walk to the night market. The bed was so comfortable it was amazing. Good AC and fan, clean room and bathroom. Noot and the staff are very friendly and nice! They waited for us to arrive late (23:00) from the bus station!

Was closed when I arrived and there was no way to contact the owner even if we had agreed on my arrival time, dirty bathroom, had to argue so that they would open the door in the morning since they sleep until later. I read nice comments before and I think mine was probably a unusual incident, since from my understanding the owner was in the UK. Nevertheless I had an unpleasant stay.

Let’s start with Noot. She’s absolutely lovely and makes you feel at home all throughout your stay. She always has a smile and is happy to help. The rooms are basic, but comfortable, and matches the price paid. It does have a bit of a homestay vibe too, which was nice. The rooms are above Noot’s bar, which isn’t noisy or rowdy - it was pretty chilled when we were there. This area is more backpacker/holiday maker-oriented, rather than local. But once you’re out of this strip, you can find local life easily.

The owner is very nice and sweet

As a young solo travel - this is not the place for you! Most of the day the gate to go inside the place is locked Also the bathroom was really dirty and not nice
