Dannu's Homestay

Great helpful staff. They were attentive, helped set up my Ijen tour, and found me a great deal on a shuttle to Probolinggo. We were also greeted with a lovely sandwich after our Ijen trip.

The Homestay is a little way from the main street so there aren’t many restaurants very close. You need to walk a kilometer.

The family that run the guesthouse is Very Nice and Will make you feel at home. The beds are confortable and everything is Very clean. They also propose very good tour to Bromo and Ijen with amazing guide so it’s a good way to discover the area of Banyuwangi

Pas grand chose malheureusement.

On a été très mal accueilli par le propriétaire (pas d’explications de comment trouver la chambre, de la salle de bain privée (mais qui n’était pas dans notre chambre), de la wifi, du petit déjeuner). Et on a vite compris qu’on avait le droit à cet accueil parce qu’on n’était pas passer par lui pour réserver nos excursions. Pour le petit déjeuner, il nous a servi des nouilles instantanées (juste ça), en prenant devant nous une casserole usagé et l’eau du robinet, bien évidemment on n’a pas mangé pour ne pas être malade, et en partant on a vu qu’il n’avait rien jeté, donc soit il a gardé les nouilles pour lui, soit pour d’autres clients, bref ne venez jamais ici. Notre pire expérience !

L’hôte est parfait, il se plis en 4 pour nous faire plaisir. Nous avons passé 4 jours formidable, reçu comme chez des amis. Nous recommandons chaleureusement cet endroit.

Tout était simplement parfait

Nice Place, Clean Room, Good Value. No noise apart from the wakeup by a mosque (as in most places in Java). Mr Dannu is very helpful in organising private tours to Bromo, Kawah Ijen, Meru Betiri and Baluran. You shall have an idea about prices need some bargaining.
