Such a lovely friendly couple that live there with their little dog, made us feel so welcome. Good options for breakfast and a comfy and spacious bedroom. Bathroom facilities are really clean and we were offered new towels during our stay too.

Cooking area is quite small, but has everything you need. House is located a bit far from town so if you don’t have a car it might be tough to get to the big supermarkets etc.

The hosts were welcoming and explained everything clearly when we first arrived at the property. The property was quiet, the bed comfortable, and the breakfast selection available was outstanding with every taste catered for, including gluten free options.

This property is very comfortable and exceptionally clean. The hosts, Sarita and Dennis, are kind, friendly, and welcoming people, and they make a huge effort to present a warm homely accommodation. Everything works nicely. They have good security as well, with electronic access and security cameras, so we felt very safe there. The location is a bit far from the CBD, but it is very quiet and peaceful, and there is a short walk to the beach. There is a bus stop a short distance away, but I'm not sure how often the bus actually goes there. We had a car, so the suburban peace and quiet was definitely preferred. The room itself was warm and comfortable, with a good bed, two chairs, additional pillows, and a heater in the room. The window has two blinds, one for privacy while still letting in the daylight, and one for night time. The toilet and shower are spotlessly clean and in excellent condition. Soap and towels are provided, and the bathroom has a touch-operated mirror light which is very elegant! Breakfast is self-service, with a range of cereals, sliced bread (and a really good toaster), jams, honey, and other spreads, as well as fruit juice, milk, and yoghurt in the fridge. There is also a range of coffees and teas available, with sugar sachets, and, of course, a kettle. Neither of us drink coffee or tea, so we didn't try these, but were nonetheless impressed with the range available. There is a nice deck just outside the house with a table, chairs, and a large sun umbrella, with hydrangea, plumbago, and other plants to give a lovely garden environment for lunch or dinner. The kitchenette is small, so would not work for preparing large complex meals, but smaller meals can easily be made there. The hosts gave some wonderful recommendations about places to visit, and we went to them, and were impressed. Overall, this property is very well appointed and run by hosts who make excellent effort to make their guests feel comfortable and welcome.

I personally would have preferred whole grain or seed bread, as it's healthier than white bread, but for a couple of days, that's ok. The walkway from the driveway to the door is open, so if it's raining, you get wet. But that's not too bad, as the path itself is very good and very safe.

The hosts are wonderful people we connected as soon as I arrived. My room was better than I expected, as was the breakfast room. It was a pleasure to stay there and will become my regular.
