Nuwara eliya mountain view homestay

Really lovely, welcoming and friendly couple! Who were super helpful with anything we needed! The bedroom and bathroom were super clean and there was a comfy blanket and mosquito net was provided. We felt so at home and comfortable during our stay here. Quiet location but also really nearby local attractions and short walk to the centre. Really lovely Sri Lankan dinner that was the tastiest Sri Lankan food we’ve had. Would definitely recommend to anyone and extremely good value for money!

The bathroom window wouldn’t close so not sure if anyone could see in. Really lovely place to stay and would recommend!

the owners are super friendly and helpful. nuwara eliya is a bit more cold than the rest of the country, but the bed has blankets so you don't get cold.

The family was very welcoming and helpful in every matter. They even had tips for us and the breakfast and dinner was always a joy.

The property is located pretty central and is a short tuktuk ride away from the rail station. The owner greeted us at the door and was a very polite and kind man. Our room was cozy and clean. The bathroom was clean and spacious too. The owner offered us a pot of coffee which was delicious. There’s a sweet cat here as well! She came into the main living area when the owner was there but otherwise we didn’t see her again. Overall this is a great value stay.

Felt very welcome into their home

It is close to the city. The owner is super friendly.

That there was just cold water. After being in the rain all day it would have been nice to have a warm shower. There was a smell like gasoline a few times in the room which waa awkward.
