Indivar Homestay

The property was very nice and clean. The owner is very good, sweet and friendly. We felt like our own home there. I would definitely recommend everyone to stay there. It’s very much easy to see The Kanchenjunga from their rooftop. We really enjoyed the view. The location is also perfect.

Everything was great. Staff was great, available 24*7. Outside food is allowed. They also do have their own menu which tastes great.

One small catch is the homestay is on a uphill road so it's bit hard to walk back.

No space for 4w parking

Liked the Behaviour of the Hotel Manager and the owner. They genuinely shared information about all the areas we wanted help or needed. Specially, Prawesh lama is a very good manager over there. Positive vibe you will get in the hotel.

Size of the room.

Common terrace with superb view to Himalaya. Guy who works there was very welcoming. Room was clean.

We lived in the first floor and not much good to say: shower is semi broken, toilet flushes bad, toilet lid doesn’t holds - you always have to hold it with hand, inside the room is cold and feels a lot of humidity. We haf issues with the hot water. When you return back, the way is quite steep and demanding. We paid more than was written in our reservation.

Overall an excellent experience.

The hostel is not in the Centre but easily reachable by foot, that makes it a bit more quiet at night. The terrace has a stunning view of the mountains. Extremely friendly host.

The mattresses were a bit hard and the door to our balcony was barely closable which made the room colder and exposed to noice neighbors.
