Beverly Hills Home stay

Perfectly located 2 minute walk from the railway station, it's an apartment with 2 small bedrooms, a room with a dining table, a kitchen that consists of a sink with cold water faucet and an electric tea pot, and a bathroom. One of the rooms has a terrific view of the mountains, while second room has a window into the room with a table. The apartment was very clean. Probably the most important, the host and his family were charming. We would definitely recommend this place for a summer visit to Darjeeling.

Wi-Fi is not available at this homestay. When we arrived, the toilet flash was not working. The owner told us that "the previous host broke it yesterday, and I didn't have a chance to fix it yet". One of the guests staying there two weeks earlier also mentioned in his review a broken toilet flash, and the owner also replied that it was broken by a previous guest a day earlier. Looks like the host has really bad luck with guests breaking the toilet every two weeks. But it's all minor. The major issue is with temperature inside the apartment on cold nights. When we were there, the night temperature outside was 9 Celsius or 48 Fahrenheit, but it felt even colder inside the apartment. I couldn't undress and take a shower, so I just jumped under the blankets fully dressed. We have heard from others that no homestays have heating in Darjeeling, so we probably wouldn't recommend people to come to Darjeeling until the weather gets warmer. But if it was a hot day, I'm sure we would have a great time in this homestay.

I was greeted at the station and made to feel welcome by the hosts. Nothing was too much trouble, and I received some good local advice for tours. The room is in an older building very close to the station. It has a small kitchen area and bathroom. The breakfast was varied and very tasty! A lovely, welcoming family.

The owners were very good - gave us a welcoming cup of tea. Very good breakfast. 2 rooms with small kitchenette. So far so good.

Freezing cold. The water and toilet flush was not working properly. Could not take a hot shower - no water pressure. NO WiFi ... ! Our lousy sim card was also not working - so with no internet to make plans we actually left Darjeeling after a beautiful morning view. Many places there are too expensive and no heating - it is too cold to enjoy the stay.

The location is good . The breakfast is awesome. The owner diwakar bhai is a really good and helpful man. Rooms and bathroom are clean. And there is clear kanchanjunga view from room and balcony.

Hospitality was awesome. For couple, the room stay is perfect. You can see K2 view from your balcony only. Rooms are decent. Facilities are also good. Don’t forget to get the best breakfast.
