Little Acorns

Hosts Elaine & Phil were simply the best ! Their home is lovely, our bedroom was super clean with a very comfy bed. We were only there one night as attending a birthday bash at the nearby Albanian Rugby Club. It’s in easy walking distance. Would definitely stay again and try out their hot tub next time.

Nothing to not like.

Comfortable, clean. Some pleasing extras with a fridge acting as a minibar with a price list in the room.

Although we knew there was a shared shower room with family, we didn’t expect it to be a Jack and Jill type. I got slightly paranoid I’d forget to lock/unlock the other door, especially in the night, and also didn’t feel we could leave our towels, toiletries etc in the bathroom. But actually it worked out fine Cereal and toast breakfast, served by latest 9.00 at weekend seemed a bit early.

Great location Comfortable

Reception was very cold, utterly cold and most unwelcoming - seemed she had "a type" of guest(s) she had in mind to accommodate. She even said, "I wasn't expecting you.....and if you are staying, you can't park on our drive as you can see there is only space for me, my husband and my daughter. you will have to park on the road!".

its a guest house and as such all shades of people can and will come in as guests so brace up for that!

The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The shower was excellent and room very cosy.

I just thought it was very nice the hosts were lovely, we just felt happy and relaxed. They were dog lovers which was very appealing.

Excellent, excellent and excellent. Staff were wonderful. Friendly. helpful and so kind. Would stay there again as they were so down to earth. And lovely people. Room was great, shower was excellent. Really comfy. And loved the fringe.

Everything was excellent. No complaints.

The bed was very nice, the property was very clean and I had a nice evening with one of the hosts.

The shower wasn’t really useable, the toilet was had two doors, one was going into the hosts daughters bedroom, this made it very awkward to go to the toilet, I felt very self conscious and wasn’t sure whether to lock the door leading to the daughters room or not, I didn’t want them to think I was prying into her room or anything. I was also told by one of the hosts the previous evening that he was very relaxed about checkout and he would be around all day. I was then woken up 15 minutes before checkout and told I had to get out immediately and I couldn’t even wash, this was the most frustrating part of the stay. The snacks made available in the room were also quite expensive.

Very comfortable and well located. Elaine was an excellent host.
