En-suite Bedroom in a quiet bungalow

The bed

We got to the property for check-in but there was no one to answer. I called their phone number many times and I was about to leave that I received a call from a different number and asked me to wait half an hour. When they arrived the room was not ready and asked us to wait for another hour till the room is ready. We drove back to the town and came back later. We were really tired and went to bed and it was around 10:10 pm that the room next to us started to loud talks and woke us up. Their loud talks continued for hours and we couldn’t sleep till 1pm and and after their talks were over we wanted to go back to bed that their snoring started. Just like a diesel generator didn’t let us sleep all nights. I turned on the TV to get busy, but the TV was not connected to any Chanel or Netflix. Slept for a couple of hours in the morning and woke up to take a shower, but the shower didn’t work.

Shirley our host very friendly & helpful on arrival. Room very comfy, clean & good size, ensuite just the right size & a fantastic shower. Quiet location with safe parking on the street. Walking distance into town, with shops, restaurants & cafes. Coffee & Tea facilities available as well. Definitely recommend staying here & if we are back in the area we'll come back.

No breakfast, location was within walking distance of the station which was good.

The only blemish was the neighbour's work van parked totally unnecessarily on the pavement. The road is wide with very little traffic and no vehicles parked opposite, so they should do the decent thing and park up to but not on the pavement leaving all the space for pedestrians, pushchairs etc.

Excellent value, nice and comfortable

Property was a little difficult to locate. GPS sent me to another area. There's a garden pond in the front lawn. Perhaps if this was developed further the residence would be easier to locate. Charming hosts non the less

The room was a good size. Very fresh. Good shower and toilet. Tea and coffee facilities were good. Clean and tidy. Lovely lady who welcomed us. Very good location. Easy walking distance to town, railway and harbour.

The walls are very thin so you can hear the TV and talking in the evenings and snoring during the night. Sink could have been bigger, so it was difficult to fill kettle. As the property was advertised as quiet, we were a little disappointed.
