En-suite Bedroom in a quiet bungalow

Bed was OK and the room was clean can’t say more than that

The shower room light didn’t work.

Perfect for anyone seeking a quiet location on the edge of town but close to facilities. Parking on the driveway was an unexpected bonus. Easy access to eating and drinking outlets just a few minutes walk away in the centre of town.

This was an odd but pleasant stay. Odd in the fact that when we arrived, we were met by a neighbour who informed us that the host had gone away for a few days. The neighbour informed us that she had been asked by the owner to let us in. I had not received any messages from the host, informing me of this and was a little concerned of being in a property where the owner was not present. However it worked out okay and allowed my husband and I to enjoy our stay in a very quiet place.

As stated I had not received any information from the host about the changes in arrangements. However I did hear from her a couple of hours after we arrived to see when we would be checking in , but again no explanation or apology was given. As stated by other reviewers, the room lacks hanging space and the sink in bathroom was very small, but we managed. Okay for one or two nights, but not much more.

Peaceful situated bungalow and friendly and helpful host. Lovely and clean, plenty of room.

Pillows too flat but would probably be OK for most people but we're used to having more supportive pillows.

Very difficult to find, sat nav took us on a tour of the housing estate. In a residential area not near the town

There was no breakfast. Location fine once found. Near to the station and town.
