The room was very spacious and clean, there was a paid parking close by (5min walk). The bed was confortable. The Wifi worked well. The location is reasonably close to other interesting areas of the city.

The walls and doors are extremely thin, we were not able to sleep since some other guests were talking and watching movies until very late. In general, hotels and rooms in Taiwan tended to be rather poorly soundprofed, but this room stood out during our travels. Furthermore, check-in was only possible from 12:00 to 15:00 in person, payment only in cash, which I think is extremely inconvenient. We also tried to wire the money in advance from a swiss bank account (since we were not able to meet the in-persona checkin time), which did not work. Upon arrival, it was claimed that the wired money never reached them, in the end we paid double (agan in cash), which is really not great.

Though it is not a very social environment, there is only 1 kettle to be shared with other guests in the common area.

The stay was a wonderful experience, with the amazing décor and very comfortable environment. There was free mineral water, the room and toilet were very clean and the bed was comfy. Overall also a really great location considering the sleepy town, the train station, Luodong night market and Luna Plaza were all within walking distance.

It is quite a walk from the train station especially under the summer heat with our baggage. The street can be quite noisy in the morning as commuters travel to work.
