Villa Souhayl homestay

The host was really nice, helpful and trustworthy. He even gave us a lift to the bus station when we moved on early in the morning. WiFi was good. Well located.

Rooms were a little dark, but in relation to the price it was awesome!

massive apartment with superb wifi in a great location. host was amazing and offered good local advice and free taxis to the bus station. even rented a scooter one day from him with good advice on where to visit

bathroom could've been nicer but didn't bother me

The main highlight is it's location. Everything is accessible. We had a good comfortable stay. The bathroom and toilets were neat and tidy.

The quality of bedsheets and pillow covers could have been better. It needs little professional set-up.

Very close to the beach, reasonable price, walking distance to all popular places in Pondicherry, staff were really nice

It was not a good experience.

I booked this homestay after seing very good reviews,but it is all fake ...Do not go by reviews...i would say we did not have good experience,except the location,we booked two rooms for 5 people later changed to 1.however we were charged for 5 people but the facilities provided only for 3. Basic necessity as a homestay is missing... 1.soap was missing in the toilet 2.charged room rent for 5 but provided blanket only for 3.Used blankets provided...it may not be hygienic. 3.utensils not provided...we had to ask everytime 4.No drinking water provided inside the room..it was kept as common cane for all the guest outside. 5.Not enough glasses to drink water,no plates. 6.No towels. It is just like a dormitory .only room to stay just like a lodge ..cannot be called homestay at all..... Cost too high. Rather you can book OYO room with better facilities.....
