Hiep Tung homestay

Ms Hiep is a great cook - really nice meals with a great variety of dishes at each meal - always lots of veggies and fresh fish. Rooms are basic but the point is you're sharing their house - after all a real homestay. They both speak very little English, so it's mostly gestures or Google translate.. An easygoing, laid-back and cheerful couple. Offer snorkeling or fishing trips. WiFi works like a charm (the mobile coverage on the island is not perfect so it comes in handy).

Sooooo many monkeys around the homestay!! And the hosts were so welcoming and accommodating.

We had 3.5 fantastic days at Hiep and Tung's homestay. Such a lovely and hospitable couple who opened up their home to us. We snorkeled with Tung one of the mornings and fished another morning - would especially recommend the fishing, it was great fun and we caught 40 fish which Hiep cooked for dinner the same day. It was so delicious. Hiep made lovely banana pancakes for breakfast, a delicious noodle dish for lunch with squid and all sorts of exciting dinners. There was especially a lot of fish. In the small fishing village live some of Hiep's siblings who are very nice and her one sister and little daughter also sleep in the house - they are very nice. We would recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away from the more touristy areas and experience something more local and familiar. It is the nicest place we have been in Vietnam so far. Many thanks to Hiep and Tung (they speak a little English, so you can easily communicate with them and otherwise google translate or body language works)

I had a truly wonderful time at Hiep Tung Homestay! This felt more like a real homestay: I was part of the family from the first moment, having meals with them and going fishing with Thom in the morning. I will definitely come back!

This place was an absolute gem. 1000% recommend for anyone to stay here to experience a more authentic version of Vietnam. Hiep and Tung are just so kind and so welcoming and made our stay one to remember for a very long time.

Hiep and Tung were so lovely and extremely friendly, we really enjoyed staying at their place and highly recommend it. Also Hiep is excellent at cooking and food was super tasty and abundant!! Hope to see them again

Really nice and quite place.:) I loved my stay here and enjoyed the familiar atmosphere. Tung and Hiep are great. You should go for a snorkeling trip with Tung and have dinner with them. This was the best food I had so far on my trip in Vietnam. Thankyou and all the best for you two!
