Springbrook Storybook

My husband & I spent 2 nights at Storybook as part of a 4 night "escape the daily grind" getaway to Springbrook mountain.. Location wise, Storybook is situated in the more suburban precinct of Springbrook, so whilst it is surrounded by rainforest, it is worth noting that there is some occasional noise from local neighbours & traffic overheard at various times of the day & night. On the flipside, the benefit of staying within town also meant being within the proximity of a couple of local cafes and nature trails, including Canyon Lookout which was a stone's throw away from Storybook with its spectacular panoramic mountain view. Everything was very clean, and also very cosy! Great artistic decor in every room, the kitchen well stocked with utensils and even some pantry essentials such as baked beans, canned fruit etc.. Mid winter visit for our trip and thus very cold weather, so the abundance of heaters throughout was greatly appreciated. The bed was also very comfortable and had a lovely electric blanket.. We loved hand feeding the local backyard wildlife (parrots, scrub turkeys & pademelons) every day, and the small outdoor fire pit allowed us to cook a BBQ dinner & toast marshmallows - always a highlight! The hosts were away at the time of our visit, however Andreas regularly communicated with us via text to ensure we were comfortable and had everything that we needed on hand. Overall we had a great stay, thank you Andreas & Christina for your hospitality :)

As mentioned, being situated in Springbrook suburbia meant there was some local neighbourhood (music, talking etc) and traffic noise overheard during both the day & night, which did occasionally disturb the otherwise peaceful serenity for us. However, it's also worth noting that it did not occur frequently enough to be particularly bothersome to us, and obviously also at no fault of the hosts. Admittedly we did spend the previous 2 nights at a local rainforest retreat which was deathly quiet both day & night, so this may be why we noticed the contrast! Regardless of this, we still thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Storybook and highly recommend it as an ideal place to stay within Springbrook :)

Was a last minute booking as we wanted to stay close by to the Warrie Circuit. Location was perfect and the accomodation was super clean, well equipped and cosy. Communication from hosts throughout stay was also great.

The place is peaceful and quiet. Just perfect to relax and enjoy the nature and the beauty of Springbrook.

The property is located in bush lands. Also close to walking tracks etc. Beautiful scenery.

Everything, it was magical

The place was just immaculate. from the moment we walked in, it was pure peace. From the beautiful high roof, to the beautiful outdoors, everything was just perfect

Great location, rustic setting, warm and comfortable in cooler weather. The kindling and wood supplied for the pot bellied stove was a bonus and the kitchen is well set up for self catering.
