Springbrook Storybook

This accomodation was in a fantastic location for exploring Springbrook. It was incredibly comfortable and a cosy place to rest in between walks in the beautiful surroundings rainforests. You feel like you are in the forest but with all the comforts you would want.

The seclusion! It was so private and relaxing. The rainforest is extremely calming and really brings you back down after the stresses of the 8 hour work day.

The place was great. No WiFi, but I wouldn't expect there to be, especially being so far away from civilisation.

My partner had a lovely time at this location! The walks that we wanted to do were close by, and it was lovely and warm inside in spite of the gloomy and wet weather.

The room was delightful. Decor and furnishings were charming and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and tidy as was the rest of the room. The bed was comfortable and the quiet/ambience of the nearby forest made for a wonderful nights sleep.

Nothing to complain about at all.

Nice and clean place to stay in the mountains. If arriving in the evening you will be welcomed by wallaby’s.

FANTASTIC place to use as home base while exploring Springbrook. Bathroom includes bath/shower. Breakfast items were provided and the bed was very comfortable. Great for couples etc.

The ONLY thing I can think to improve would be the insulation and the heater setup. A dual cycle AC/heat pump would be a huge improvement over the resistive heater provided in terms of energy efficiency. The weather was cool during my visit, and while I managed to stay warm easily, I almost felt bad using the room heater. I try to avoid using inefficient heaters wherever possible. Would also help to deal with the Springbrook humidity and shower steam.

It's a lovely place, hide in the middle of Rain Forest. Extremely calm and silence. Perfect place to disappear from real life a couple of days. No Mobile connection, totally silence and relaxing. Even we booked a night in middle of Winter, they provided us two electric blankets and a small electric "fake" wood stove. Some hiking paths around and board games to have fun after dinner. They provide us Bread, Milk, etc to organise our Continental Breakfast in the morning.

Winter season is not the best time to visit it. Quite cold even with electric blankets. "Fake" Wood stove works well but in not enough to gets the toilet warm. Things that are normal in a place like this. We will be back for sure, but in better weather conditions.
