The family was very nice and sweet. I felt very welcome. On my first night, in addition to having my room upgraded, they invited me to bake sweet potatoes on the fireplace. It was surreal, such hospitality and kindness are rare to find. The kids and the dog were adorable, too. The homestay is very spacious, high ceiling, and very modern, minimalistic fengshue'ish decor. The room is very clean and comfy. The home is located on the citadel, near the main monument. It is also far from noisy tourists and karaoke bars.I loved the fact that it's a non tourist area because I had the chance to interact with the real Vietnamese people who were kind and smiling, and the small kids waving and saying hello, was heart melting. . I had a great time experiencing their culture and their foods, and the pleasure to eat the most delicious street foods on the area; the bun bo hue soup just outside the home, the ice ka- phe and the fried bananas were simply divine. Highly recommended for foreigners when coming to Hue to fully experience "the real Hue" with the Hue lifestyle and the Hue people. - Về địa điểm, Lasen ở gần hồ Tịnh Tâm (một hồ sen rất đẹp) và gần khu Đại Nội, nên không xô bồ tấp nập mà rất yên tĩnh. - Không gian ở Lasen được decor bằng những chất liệu mộc mạc như gỗ, linen, đặc biệt mình rất thích chiếc gối ôm bằng vải nhuộm chàm vẽ sáp ong ở phòng Thu An - một điểm nhấn nhỏ mà tinh tế. Lasen còn sử dụng bình nước thuỷ tinh (refill) thay vì chai nhựa. Tuy sống chung không gian với chủ nhà (host) nhưng mình vẫn có sự riêng tư rất thoải mái khi được sử dụng toàn bộ không gian ở tầng 2. Với người đi công tác một mình, và là nữ như mình, sống cùng với host như vậy khiến mình yên tâm hơn về sự an toàn. Hi vọng có nhiều người sẽ hữu duyên đến được với Lasen hơn trong tương lai. Mến yêu Lasen đã cho mình cảm giác ấm áp khi tới Huế.
