Cozy Homestay with Netflix 5min to Keluang Beach

The Netflix. Location.

Quite dusty with cobwebs. Toilet sinks are small, water pressure not strong. No bedside table in the rooms. No toiletries provided, never top up. No batteries for the remote controls for the fan, clock and TV box. Back rest of the sofa in front of the TV is not comfy... Can feel the wooden frame. Need to place a pillow as back rest.

We arrived late so wanted to go straight to sleep as we were tired however when we saw the state of the beds we were put off immediately. The sheets were stained and dirty, and the pillows had hair on them from previous people. The bathrooms were also filthy, the floors were not cleaned properly, and there was dirt and mould on the sinks and taps and other surfaces. These were the main concerns. We were not expecting 5* standard, just basic cleanliness. The host did offer to clean and open up another room, which was closed, but the rooms should be clean on arrival, not after. We felt that even with another clean, it would not make a difference as they obviously did not provide a good standard first time round. This place needs a deep clean before being used as a homestay. Many surfaces were dusty, the cutlery and kitchen utensils were very old and not clean, I did not feel I could let my kids use them. The fridge was filthy, the sofas were hard and stained, and the tv was dusty. We had booked to stay there for 5 nights, but we did not feel comfortable staying there as a family and checked out the next day. We had to book another accommodation, and after much following up with the host and booking.com, we still haven't received any reasonable compensation. I would not recommend staying here with young kids, I have stayed in hostels much cleaner than this. We were very disappointed as the pictures did not reflect the true conditions.
