I stayed here for 4 days, arya and uncle are the best host. They prepare food as per the guest request, and the food was delicious ❤️. They take care of every minor detail like filling my water bottle with hot water every now and then, made sure that I carry sweater and umbrella every time I head out, and gave attention to every minor detail. Being a solo female traveler i felt so safe and enjoyed every bit of trip. They arranged cab for me for site seeing and airport transfer. They even shared their incidents, fun stories and local insights with me at dinner and breakfast time. It felt like home. The property is good, the room and washrooms were clean and contained all necessary things. There is a common area which has a dining table and sofa where you can enjoy the breathtakingly valley views and the toy train along with the weather. When the weather is clean you can also spot Kanchenjunga from the window. Overall it was an amazing experience.

The friendly and family like behaviour of the owner. Karma daju and Aarya took care of us like family.

The location of the home stay. Though it gives a perfect view of the valley and the hills, one has to climb up a little to reach there.

I would suggest to improve a bit the quality of the breakfast, one egg and bread toast is not enough The bathroom is really humid (no window) Bed comfort can be improved

It's a great place to stay. The room is comfortable and clean. But the real highlight is the staff, they were so good and helped me organise anything I wanted to do in the area. Really simplified my trip. The location is good too. It's an easy walking distance into Darjeeling.

The room was a tiny bit cold but there were plenty of bed coverings so it was not really a problem.

The location wasn’t too bad. It was nice to have our own space without other guests being around.

The property was over represented on bookings.com to such an extent I questioned if it was the place I booked. It was absolutely FREEZING. I never considered for a second when booking it that it wouldn’t be heated. The bed was so hard I didn’t sleep for the 4 nights. There was no mattress protector which is completely unhygienic. There were not enough bedding for the freezing conditions. The shower barely working - a trickle of hot water at most in a freezing bathroom. So disappointed in so many respects in this accommodation. Limited toilet paper - 1 towel between the 3 of us. On our last night after repeated requests we finally were delivered 3 towels and it was after we’d gone to bed and after I threatened a bad review.. only this resulted in a towel for each guest. Our host was full of excuses. They had a portable blower heater which we were offered after a completely sleepless night freezing, and then we were charged $10AUS per night to use it. We shared it with my son who was in a separate room to heat up his room after he told me he couldn’t sleep from the cold.

We only stayed over night at Mysa Maya Homestay, but wished we had stayed for a couple more. The property is in a quiet neighbourhood and just a short walk from the centre. Aaryasangh and his father were just amazing and could not do enough to make our stay wonderful. They organised a taxis, took us for a walk and were full of knowledge and advice on the local area.
