We were warmly welcomed by Thomas and Silkie with an excellent glass of the local white wine that they also sell. Our room was spacious with an excellent view of the Danube and surrounding valley. The bed was large and comfortable, and everything was spotless. A parking space was provided at my request, which was nice. We took advantage of their beautiful little garden to relax on the deck and drink some wine while watching the boats on the river. It was a very nice stay. They also recommended a local restaurant which we visited, up on the mountain, and a wonderful time.

Not much. Their home has a long and interesting generational history. There are stairs to negotiate, and the historical building has some small doorways if you are taller. The hot water took a while to kick in.
