6 Church Street, Whitehaven - Perfect deployment location for Coast to Coast cyclists & hikers

The bed was comfy and decor was nice

Had to clean up after other guest after a 6hour travelling and was always a funny smell down stairs every day. The bathroom had no hand soap in it's bottle and the toilet brush was in a disgusting state. There wasn't one toilet roll provided either had to buy my own. The other guests were banging doors constantly or shouting from 7am so not really respectful. I have stayed here before and was fine but this time it really put me off especially for the price for 4 nights.

The room was very clean, good spacious shared living area and kitchen. The location is ideal close to all the amenities

The mattress was very uncomfortable the springs were pinching but because we came after a long hike we knocked out. Could do with better pillows or maybe extra pillows in the wardrobe

Not well sound insulated , the sea gulls and my room neighbours were noisy at times
