Friendly management, helpful with bus timetables and tips where to eat etc. Very prettily situated though the old, rickety furniture didn't invite to spend time outdoors, the terrace was lovely however. The kitchen is small and we were lucky it was not busy when we were there. But big fridge with freezer compartment.

It has a slightly run-down feel and could be an absolutely great place. I didn't like that the door had a glass panel and the stair light was directly in front of our room, every time someone switched it on at night, it shone directly into my bed. Nothing to do with the property itself, but worth mentioning for light sleepers: the roosters in the village are a menace; they keep going from 1:30am all night. Bring ear plugs!

The location is great, the flexibility of the staff was super good.
