The owner gave us a room with ac and wanted to charge us extre 500 rupees to get the remote control to use it. The bathroom was not clean. The host barely knew English so it was hard to communicate

Without any doubt, book this home stay.. Exceptional host, clean washrooms, they arranged a boat ride for us which will be a life long memory. Safe and nearest to the railway station.

Nothing at all.

Our host was really helpful organising an exceptional sunrise canoe riding including providing transport at 5am! The property is really relaxing with private space for the guests on the balcony plus access to the roof if required. Felt very chill He also guided us to a location where we could hire bicycles which were amazing for exploring the island

At some meal times, our host was a little over keen to make sure we had enough food etc. on our plates. However, his heart is in the right place but guests may want some extra space.

Clean, good size room, good AC, breakfast included, nice host, good value.

The overhead shower only had cold-ish water; for warm water, had to use bucket.

The location is good. The owner will try to make you feel at ease. He is kind and if there is anything that you feel should be done differently he will go the extra mile to make sure you’re happy. Like he cleaned our bathroom because it was not clean enough the day we checked in and the next day he came to our room to do the floor and change the bed linen. He also dropped us at the train station and lended us his scooter. He really is Hard working to maintain the place nice and tidy. His nephew provides very nice boating tour. We enjoyed it.

The cleanliness standards did not reach what I expected at least for the bathroom. The breakfast had no other option that traditional indian . And the food served for dinner was very simple, one dish only. Could be more varied and more in quantity.
