A K Munroe Homestay

Anilkumar and his family took great care of us. We had a lovely stay and enjoyed their company as well as the food they prepared for us. The room was basic but had everything we needed plus hot water. Wifi worked well and we also enjoyed a boating trip that we booked through Anilkumar. It felt like a really authentic Homestay experience for us.

It gets quite hot in the room but luckily there is an AC and fans available.

Very nice and clean place with a delicious breakfast. Convenient since it’s near the railway station.

We missed a common area to chill outside of the bedroom.

The stay was very very cozy and spacious with one large bedroom, hall and 2 huge open space terraces. Breakfast was yummy and very delicious and it was completely prepared by the host family. The hospitality and response from the host Mr. Anil Kumar was really mind blowing. He helped us plan our rest of the trip and also arranged us a Shikara boat ride. The boating people whom he referred were also very caring and took care of us very well. The shikara boating start point and a proper Kerala style restaurant is also available in walkable distance from the property. Overall Spacious stay, delicious food, and best hospitality. A thumps up to Mr. Anil Kumar and family for making us feel like a part of their family. Highly recommended for families visiting Manroe island.

It was really a new place for me and my group . Saw this particular Home stay and booked it without any payment , had no idea about the place . We were all ladies , still it was a great experience as the owner were more like family , and all big and small request were taken into consideration . It is suggestible to any person .

Food and accommodation was so good. Boating and sight seeing was perfectly arranged by the owner and a perfect place to stay with kids and family 👪.
