The vibe in the house is very calming. You really can rewind from the day to day stress. If you explore the huge land you will find all sorts of cute and magical places where you can relax and take in the beautiful nature. Family dinner was always very good and plenty. Special thanks to all the voluntiers who keep places like that alive!! They where always caring and helpful in every situation.

It can be very crouded if the wether isn't nice enought to be outside.

Camino Art House var en stor oplevelse! Bæredygtighedskonceptet er meget gennemført. Der er mulighed for at tilkøbe god vegansk mad, lavet af friske råvarer. Der er et velfungerende fællesskab, som de fleste tager del i. Man kan bo i huler og udforske de små stier i dalen. Gennem dalen kan man finde vej over på den anden side, hvor der er adgang til bjergvandring hele vejen til San Mateo. Udsigten er vidunderlig. Camino Art House er et meget originalt påfund, som aldrig ville kunne lade sig gøre hjemme i Danmark, da der aldrig ville blive givet tilladelse til at bygge og bo på sådan en kreativ måde..

Jeg følte mig lidt ved siden af under mit ophold. Jeg nåede ikke at falde til i fællesskabet som fremstod meget familiært og deltagelse i fællesskabet er helt sikkert vigtigt for de frivillige. Bygningen er meget smal, så man skal hele tiden lave undvige manøvre, når man bevæger sig rundt i den kunstfærdige bygning. Det må man betragte som en del af charmen. Jeg tror ikke der bliver gjort rent med vand og sæbe. Hovedbygningen ved Camino Art House er meget hyggelig, men det er ikke der man finder fred, heller ikke om natten. Jeg boede i køjerummet med 6 senge. Hvis man er følsom overfor støj, eller har behov for privatliv, vil jeg anbefale at man booker et aleneværelse, eller en af hulerne til enten få eller en person.

Absolutely nothing – we felt so unsafe and uncomfortable that we left and rebooked a different place at the last minute, and honestly this property should not even be listed on Booking.com.

The place we booked was absolutely shocking and far below any basic standards of human dignity. Instead of a normal room, we were offered to sleep in what can only be described as a damp cave outside, “closed” only with a thin curtain, with no electricity, no running water, a wet and humid floor, and swarms of flies and insects inside. It felt dirty, unsafe and completely uninhabitable. To make matters even worse, there were several people on the premises who appeared to be heavily intoxicated, which made us feel extremely unsafe and uncomfortable. It was not just disappointing – it was frightening and we wanted to leave immediately. The conditions were so unacceptable that we had no choice but to cancel our stay on the spot and urgently book beds in a shared dorm in a hostel at the last minute – and even that last‑minute hostel dorm was many classes better than this so‑called “accommodation”. After seeing the scandalous state of the “room”, we asked for a refund twice, and both times our request was refused with no understanding or responsibility from the property. The case has now been escalated to Booking.com support. I have been using this platform for about 10 years, many times each year, and have travelled to countries with very basic standards, including India and several in Africa, and I have never experienced anything even remotely as bad as this. I strongly advise other guests to avoid this property at all costs. Do not trust the photos or the description. The high rating is a mystery; perhaps it suits travelers with zero standards for hygiene or safety, but for anyone expecting a legitimate room, this is a disaster.

Los voluntarios que trabajan ahí son muy amables. Han estado atentos en todo momento tanto conmigo como con el perro que me acompañaba. No han puesto ningún problema en ningún momento.

Los colchones de las camas de la habitación triple estaban regular, ya te hundes cuando te acuestas y son bastante incómodas. Al sólo existir un baño con váter dentro de la casa, hay veces que tienes que esperar un buen rato para poder usarlo. Si no quieres esperar, tienes la opción de ir al "spa".

This is definitely not for everyone. 😂😅 When I booked it, I didn’t know I would be living in a cave. There is no electricity. There is a toilet in the common area, but it smells with food that people cook and pretty crowded. and there is also no hot water.
