Hideout Homestay

The room was very clean and comfortable, the location is perfect: right in the centre of Darjeeling.

At the moment there is no common space for the guests other than the cafeteria but it's not very pleasant to sit there as people smoke inside and the air gets difficult to breathe.

- location! close proximity to food and main tourist area - their cafe, the banana honey pancakes are my fave - comfy bed - the staff, so kind!

- rooms could be updated with a little paint job and TLC - hot water needs to be requested 20 mins before but the water always became hot

1. NOT value for money , with this price you will get a hotel room in the same location in any season. I bet on this. 2. The rooms are NOT insulated. No temparature difference inside & outside. 3. Geyser is only availble for 12 , 14 hours and that too with prior notice . You can not control it from room . You have to inform them every time 15mins before you use it . This does not help your stay.

Good hostel. Not far from Darjeeling Mall road. Staffs are helpful. Their cafeteria is awesome. Neat and clean. View from the cafe is lovely.

Nothing as such. You may find it little difficult to locate for the first time.
