FRATERNITY HOMESTAY

The location was fantastic. You get a good Darjeeling Valley view right from the room and the terrace that is attached with the room. Another plus was the very friendly service given by the people who manage the property. Their behavior was very helpful. Also, big shout-out to Keviv. He really helped us very good.

There is a little steep ladder that one has to climb up or climb down to get to the property. Also, it's kind of a 15 to 20-minute walk from the mall road. But if you would like, you can hire a taxi to go down or come up. That taxi person could charge from ₹300 to ₹500. If you do this, you'll get a good view from the property. If you're coming with some elderly person, know that it would be difficult for them to climb up and climb down.

Fraternity Homestay is the place for the true vacation. It's in such a perfect place that its so peaceful and only 1.5 km from the main center. I enjoyed the walk to the mall road with good view and beautiful trees on th way. The best thing about this place is the people. Keviv(owner) is the nicest guy I ever met. The staff was also very helpful. Fresh and delicious homemade food which made my tummy satisfied. Planning for next trip again to enjoy here again .

The view from the room and balcony was breathing. I had Keviv's special handmade cappuccino with the stunning view outside. His uncle is such a humble and helpful person. I had sprained my leg, and his uncle Anup brought me pain relief medicine. Such a gentleman . All of them are gentle and well mannered. Thank you for making our stay memorable.

Everything was awesome. The stunning view, big and clean room and especially the host Keviv and his Uncle. His uncle Anup made us really delicious food and Keviv's coffee is the best I've ever had. The staff was very cooperative, helped us carrying our luggage . Will come again for sure .

Fraternity homestay is the place to be truly for vacation. The view was too good. Very good staff who was really helpful and the owner Keviv is gem . It was pleasure to meet Keviv and getting to know him and his story of how he started everything. And lastly, Keviv's pancakes is a must in Darjeeling.

Wow !!! Just wow!!! I have no words to describe how good the stay was :) :) :) From people to room to food to view :) :) :) got my soul happy ..they also do bonfire with music which was super enjoyable... The twin brothers Keviv and Kevin are hard to get cool peeps...if i didn't have to go gangtok as soon ...id have stayed here for a week ... trust me guys .. also jeson(their friend )was best host while driving me and giving me best tour ... I'd heard good things about Fraternity homestay and to actually experience it was AMAZING.. don't listen to naysayers.. don't acknowledge the negative comments.. don't get brainwashed by negativity... Cheers to fraternity indeed!!! Will 100% visit again!!!

You have to climb up & down 56 high stairs to reach the property or to go out. It's in a remote place near Japanese buddha temple. Everytime to go to town, market or mall area you hv to spend minimum ₹300 x2 on Taxis. Food is very very costly , but that uncle cook is useless, there are 2/3 jhupri dhaba like things about 300 mtrs up/down hill, you can hv your breakfast and lunch there by climbing 56x 2 stairs. May be the owner bros Keviv & Kelvin were good initially as per the earlier guests reviews, but once they got the taste of money, their head turned and started taking all Guests for granted that whatever they provide guests has to accept that only and pay in full. Except just before leaving , last 3 days, water flow in the tap was very less, used to take half hour to fill one bucket, their caretaker didn't know how to repair that. Towel, bedsheets,soaps once given during entering, thereafter never changed or supplied fresh, although we paid same amount for 3 days. No tea, coffee sugar/milk etc in the room , not even a hot water electric kettle was supplied, hot water supplied on request by a thermal flask only. No proper entrance, no trace of any reception. And the only guest room on rooftop is made out of only corrugated sheet , there is not a single brick work made wall only. One storm or strong wind will simply fly away the room or its false ceiling roof. Mug handle, cupboard lock was broken , owner is not interested to check all these. Room carpet is NOT pasted /taped properly, we got tripped few times, after pointing out to the owner keviv, instead of arranging to rectify it, he started arguing, very very wrong attitude. But the only name I must mention is just a superb person. .And that is Darshan. A Young boy works there as caretaker, there is no comparison about his service. If you are a honeymoon couple or a poet, don't want to move much, then may take a try there, else just keep away.
