The apartment was very spacious and cozy. Quiet, rural location close to low Tatras hiking trails. The accommodation was dog friendly (no extra fee for the dog, but do keep in mind that there is a steep stair to reach the room - for some dogs it could be challenging). The owner of the apartment lives in the same building on the first floor. She doesn't speak English, so communication was a bit challenging but we managed to arrange everything just fine.

We saw a mouse in the kitchen twice during our first evening there. I guess it is normal for a rural house, yet it was an unpleasant surprise, considering we kept some food on the counters.

Better than expected based on the photos! Very good location (nice old village, not too far from ski resort, the house is not on the main road so it is quiet, shop within walking distance). Very spacious room, equipped kitchen where we could cook and eat, flexible check in and check out times, intimacy and warmth, and all this for a reasonable price. Some furniture was a little bit worn down, still the place was not depressing for that, but had a cosy atmosphere and a positive vibe. Though the room is big, the heating was working well. From a window you can see the mountain with the ski slope. My kids didn't want to leave. :-)

The lamp at the stairs going up to the room didn't work, the lightbulb should be replaced. The owner and the lady giving us the key didn't speak English (but it was not a big problem, as all was quite obvious).

The location suited my needs. The place is spacious and equipped. The hostess was kind and helpful.
