PEE HOMESTAY LOPBURI

Good location, less than 5 minutes walk from the station (but not so near to be bothered by the noise from trains), only 5-15 minutes walk from all the attractions and restaurants in town. Clean room, comfortable bed, well-functioning AC. Very kind host.

Nothing in particular. Decor is not very up to date, but not an issue, and it's as in the photos.

Pee was a lovely helpful host and the room was close to the centre.

Minor - some ants on the bed but no problem after I brushed them off. Major - too many aggressive dogs that prevented me from going to certain places. I was given a stick for the monkeys at the historic site but they were no trouble at all, the stick should have been for the dogs. This is why I left Lopburi early.

Pee was lovely and accommodating, Whilst the property is a little tired it was perfectly functional and great value for money I would definitely go again. we also had a Massage whilst there, Pee did this herself and it was very reasonable (apx 200 bht)

I liked that the WiFi was strong enough to watch movies, the location was perfect as it's a 5 minute walk from the train station or to the main monkey area, and the owner is incredibly kind. She offered a massage, and unlimited use of a foot massager.

I did find one bed bug in the bed on the final night. I did not realise there was no window. I also did not realise that I would have to leave the room to access the private bathroom. The shower only had cold water.

A homestay (friendly owner and family live and run their business in the same building) in a residential area and near train station. Good sized bed, ensuite wet room and old fashioned deco. Not luxurious but comfortable and experience in a local home. Host is very friendly and helpful. Good value

Lopburi is only a stop over place, on our way to Sukhothai, nothing too exciting
