Pantai Camara Homestay

Located right at the beach. Very serene, laid back and secure. Staff is always ensuring that the surroundings are clean by sweeping any trash within the premises. Owner is very visible and approachable. You can directly make requests from her.

Would appreciate more racks to hang wet clothes and towels. We stayed at Villa 1 which is for a minimum of 8 people but there is only one rack for wet clothes. I’m generally not very particular about cleanliness, but the amount of cockroach droppings under the sink is quite concerning, and the smell in the kitchen is strong. It would really help if staff could take a few minutes to clean under the sink regularly to keep it under control.

The Beach, the staff, the flexibility, and the approximation to the local market. This place is heaven for a family's gathering, especially for those who have limited incomes and are always dreaming of having a holiday staying by the beach for more than just a couple of hours. It's about 4 to 5 hours of drive from Jakarta in a good traffic. Avoid lebaran or Christmas or new year. Location is between Tanjunglesung and Ujung Kulon National Park. Have a lovely and a lively stay. Because WE HAD. We might be coming back again next year.

The accomodation is on a pristine white beach and although we came by Taxi. The owner took us to all the activities we wanted to do. Also the food was really nice. And the other Indonesian guests made us feel very welcome

Die Lage zum Nationalpark war super und unser Tourguide hat uns direkt am Pantai Camara Homestay abgeholt. Die Anfahrt dauert dann nur noch ca. 40 Minuten.

Wir hatten eine der kleinen Hütten für uns alleine. Leider lebten in unserer Hütte schon so manche Tiere. Tja wer zu erst kommt… unter anderem eine komplette Gecko-Familie und so machen Ameisenstraße und ein Krebs in der Toilette. Die anderen Krabbeltiere zähle ich nicht weiter auf. Die Dusche war eine halbhohe Regentonne mit Duschbrause. Alles in allem zwar günstig und von der Lage her gut, aber ich hätte mir diese Zustände nur im Dschungel gewünscht und nicht schon die Nacht vorher in dieser Unterkunft.

The place is awesome and you do feel like part of the family. The food was fresh and a hot amazing Indonesian coffee was always available. The beach is a paradise as a non conventional destination. Respecting the local tourists and enjoying the best of the Philipino-Indonesian hospitality was unforgettable!!!

That we didn't stay any longer. A tip is that you do arrange with the property about food and transport. they ask for affordable amount and the place is slightly remote so you should count on them and their amazing service
