"Great location, very close to the beach, restaurants, and shopping area, but a bit noisy at night"

I really liked the location.

Unfortunately it was pretty noisy at night. Very loud music till late at night (I understand and expected it on new years eve, but the night before or the night after. There also were roosters clucking early in the morning.

I recently went with my family (my wife and our two kids 6 yrs. and 10 months) and we felt really at home. The place has several benefits: daily cleaning service, drinking water and coffee supply provided at check-in (so no hassle for the first cup of coffee in the morning), the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare delicious meals, and a salt water pool with some toys for our kids to splash around. The staff is super friendly. It's very close to all the restaurants and little stores on Avenida El Anclote (less than 2 minutes walking) but still very quiet. There is a little mini market right in front, anyone can easily get around on foot. The surf spots were great, not to say world class. We had several surf sessions with amazing wave on our own :))) The prices for boat drop off's are good, the experience to have your private wave made me and my wife speechless. While we were surfing our kids were taken care of by an experienced, english speaking nanny there at the lodge and had a great time as well. We already want to go back :) We had an awesome time. 100% recommended.
