We stayed at Merlin Villa on our last day in Sri Lanka, and it was the perfect choice! We needed a budget-friendly place that could comfortably accommodate six people, including kids, and be close to the airport. Merlin Villa ticked all the boxes. The place was very clean and tidy, with an old charm that made it feel cozy and welcoming. It’s clearly well-maintained, and the owner himself was incredibly helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a homestay with excellent service and a warm, comfortable atmosphere!

The property is located near amenities and is a USD 1 tuk tuk drive from Negombo Town Centre. Lots of Food Shops, supermarkets and Public Transportation are available. It is a 100+ year-old Villa (house). You could experience the heritage and culture. Lot of Space for a big family.

No Exhaust fans in the Bathroom and possibility of mould development

Family of five, last night in Sri Lanka, great spot, and very good value. We had one big family room and an extremely kind host who got up very early to take us to the airport, thank you.

We stayed here having just arrived. It was a good big clean room with comfortable beds for all 5 of us (two adults and three kids). Super helpful host.

Location was a little far from restaurants and sights but an easy tuk tuk ride.

Good ac, reasonable price, decent place. Very nice owners. Great pizza place around corner. Pizza shop Owner lived in Italy, also does tours, speaks Italian.

My door didn't lock so when I went out it wasn't secure, noone there so didn't matter. All in all it's a good deal.
