The Mountain View Home Stay

It is very nice and comfortable property situated in a serene village background. It is near the Eastern Group of Temples and Dance Festival site, etc. are 5-10 min away by car. Cars, scooter, three wheeler are available here all the time. The owner, Mr. Kuldeep Pathak is a very courteous and helpful person. His hospitality and efforts to make the stay memorable are commendable. He can speak Hindi, English, French, Spanish quite fluently. Food provided is very good. Staff is also helpful and well behaved.

Feeling of living in your owm home due to the behaviour of owner Mr. Kuldeep and staff Mr Pradeep.

Did not take breakfast. However the lunch was very good and just like homely food.

The approach to this property is not proper. Surrounding is stinking due to lot of Animals around.

The rooms really very nice clean affordable and to top very courteous staff very friendly the owner a gem of a person will guide u to a very smooth stay The owner will also arrange for a taxi who will take u around khajuraho very obidient taxi driver with ample knowledge of the city n temples

We really loved and enjoyed our stay at The Mountain View Homestay. The host is so lovely and we were sad when we had to leave. So if you would like to stay there allow yourself a few days longer to get the full experience, to relax, calm down in the nature and enjoy the silence away from the Indian chaos. We had good conversations with Kuldeep. His English is great (he is also fluent in Spanish, Italian, French, etc.). He was also very helpful as he gave us a ride to the Temples and took us to see and experience real life of Indian farmers and gave us good advice for our travels. The food he cooked was so delicious as well as the coffee and the Chai! We hope to get there again! Rooms The room and the bathroom was compeletely clean and well equipped. He even bought new additional blankets for us when we arrived . Nearby activities There are loads of temples and about 15km away there is the Panna Tiger Reserve and some waterfalls to see. Kuldeep is are happy to give you a ride. Walkability From The Mountain View Homestay to the city center it's about 20 min walk. You can directly reach this place by Taxi or Tucktuck . Food & drinks The food Kuldeep cooks is such great and very fresh. They use all the fruits and vegetables from their farm and there is fresh buffalo milk available everyday even you can meet the buffalo and milk it yourself If you want as my wife did. Yummy!

We stayed at this Homestay for a night in January and would definitely choose to stay here again if we come back. The property is new and is kept clean. Rooms are spacious. The linen and towels were freshly laundered. The washroom was clean and spotless. We had dinner and breakfast. The food was cooked fresh and was very tasty and portion size was excellent. The location is just about a kilometre away from the busy, Western group of temples, area but is close to the Vaman temple of the Eastern group. Being slightly away from the main area there was no traffic noise at night. There is space inside the compound where we could park the car safely. Kuldeep, the owner, is very guest centric and is willing to go the extra mile to keep his guests happy. The place was a superb value for money and we wish the host all the best that he may maintain the standards. You should definitely stay here if you are traveling to Khajuraho.

Huge comfortable room, good rates and amazing staff! We really felt at home here and decided to stay much longer than we planned. Great coffee with fresh milk, superhelpful staff that took care of us from the moment we arrived in Khajuraho, until the moment we left. Would definitely stay here again if we come back. Also very nice location in the quite countryside, but still within walking distance to all the temples.

No permanent Wi-Fi. but we got an Airtel hotspot so that wasn’t a big problem.
