"Friendly family that goes to great lengths to welcome"

It’s everything people say in the reviews. Spectacular views. Incredible hospitality. Food was so tasty and reasonably priced. And a location that a van can’t get to. But the hosts met us where the road narrowed too much for the van to pass, and took us up by tuktuk. We walked to Ella Rock from the hotel. The paths are not easily marked but that was part of the adventure for us.

The location is hard to get to but that is clear in the existing reviews. Just don’t expect a van to get there , plan with the owners to be dropped off at a spot where they can meet you.

"Everything was wonderful. So peaceful, clean and comfortable. The view is the best!"

The view of the waterfall, wonderful food, helpful staff, HOT shower, clean and comfortable and good value. We ordered dinner and they made it mild for our kids too. The balcony is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the waterfall, the birdsong, and the mist.

"Magical view and great place, right next to the track to Ella"

The best view I have ever seen in Ella!! The breakfast was also lovely :) The owner has such a sweet family and you could tell he is a great person, even made us breakfast to take with us at 7am!

It was our best stay in Sri Lanka. The view from the balcony is truly amazing. The host was very nice and attentive. We recommend this inn to everyone.

We liked everything. Even though the road to the inn is quite bumpy, it became a part of the experience, because every time we were taking Tuk-tuk and it was fun :)

Sehr schöner Ausblick vom Balkon Tolle Lage abseits des Trubels Wanderung Fuß bis zum Ella Rock möglich Sehr freundliche Gastgeber Großes Zimmer

Balkon war immer schattig, wodurch es beim Frühstück auf der Terasse zu kalt war(März)

Rauhallinen sijainti, kauniit maisemat pelloille ja vesiputoukselle. Skootterin vuokraus onnistui helposti. Huone ihan siisti, hyvä hinta-laatusuhde.

Äänieristys huoneiden välillä ei ollut kummoinen, mutta onneksi yöt olivat rauhallisia. Jonkin verran kävelymatkaa keskustasta, mutta ihan ok oli kävellä illallakin.
