20/20 wood cabana

I travelled Sri Lanka for a month and this was my favourite stay. Cabin is totally self contained but next to the home of a most lovely mum and son so it was like the best of both worlds - privacy combined with home stay feeling. Had dinner both nights in their home and it was also my favourite meal, so delicious and cooked with love and care. Really super cute cabin too with upstairs and downstairs beds.

I stayed in Nuwara Eliya for one night and they looked after me really well!

We were a group of 4 and one room was spacious and nice but the other very small and not great. The hosts are lovely and really want to do anything they can which is so nice.

Pillows hard and sheets are fleece which are used in NE but not nice. The host did give us a cotton sheet. The small room has a small bed for 2 adults.

Individual cabins each with a pretty garden and outside seating area. Comfy bed, great breakfast and extremely kind, helpful hosts who made us a packed breakfast when we did an early walk to Worlds End

A fair walk to the centre of town although a restaurant just down the lane and curry available at home stay A small heater for cold evenings would be a good addition, though lovely warm blankets provided for night time

We had a wonderful stay here with Ara and his mother as our hosts. He was incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive. We contacted him before arriving in Sri Lanka to arrange our transfers. He came to pick us up at Ambewela railway station when we arrived by train form Ella (end of the line because of the cyclone Ditwah). On our departing day he also drove us to Sigiriya with a stop in Kandy along the way. Before being a host he was a Tuktuk driver, so one morning he took us to visit a tea plantation with his tuktuk. We really appreciated the delicious (and abundant) breakfast and dinner prepared by his mother. The room was nice and cozy, and with the blankets provided we didn't feel cold at night. Highly recommended!

Nuit fraîche et douche froide

La cabaña es muy bonita y la familia que lo lleva es super amable. Hicimos un tour con Arah y la clase de cocina con su madre. Todo perfecto y muy agradecidas por el disposición en todo momento por ayudar.

Puntualmente no salía agua caliente, pero se sobrelleva bien.
