Mango Villa Sigiriya

We loved staying at Mango Villa. The host family was so kind and really made us feel like home. We didn’t have to worry about anything because Shantha (the host) organized our day trips and we also did a safari with his jeep - which was amazing because we saw a lot of Elefants and other animals in the national park. We could always ask him everything and he had a lot of good tips for us. Also the food was amazing! The best breakfast and dinner we had in Sri Lanka so far. The room was also very comfortable and big with a lovely terrace with views of the garden. We would totally recommend staying there and if we ever travel to Sri Lanka again we will come back. So lovely place! Beautiful garden and hammocks, nice places to seat outside, good breakfasts, clean and tidy rooms! Hosts were very friendly and helpful, would love to return here again!

The room is nice and clean. Mosquito nets are provided. The wife of the host is super nice and really sweet. Breakfast was good.

A/C is super loud, which was very annoying. Dogs are loud as well. The location is quite far away if you don't have a tuktuk. The host is always trying to sell you some sort of safari he is doing, which we found quite annoying.

We had an amazing stay. The family was so nice, and very helpful. The room was very nice and you get a lot for your money. I would definetly recommend :)

Our room was very clean and spacious. The family is friendly and helps you with everything. And we loved the dinner. The shower has good pressure and is hot.

Great hospitality and very comfortable room and beds with hot shower and air conditioning. Traditional home cooked Sri Lankan breakfast. Our hosts organised a great Safari with lots of elephants and we recommend their Tuk Tuk tour of the rocks. It's great to see the rocks from the ground as well as climb them. Santha also took us in his Tuk tuk to climb both Sigiriya and Pidurungala rocks and picked us up when we finished.
