Nelocas House

From beginning to end the host Nélia was amazing. I had a late flight coming in and she was there to greet me and settle me in. The room is on the 1st floor. It has a kettle, a heater and a fridge, you have your own private bathroom. It's so calm and welcoming. Everything is spotless. You have plenty of towels and sheets so you can do your own housekeeping or Nélia will do it for you. The family lives 2 levels down so no one hears any noise. Nélia was full of info and always available, even when I forgot my keys and had some laundry to do. There's a small supermarket: Casa Cheia, just round the corner and I always found a parking space in front of the house. It's a 30ish minute walk to the center. As always in the Azores, keep in mind you should open the windows to ventilate the inherent dampness as much as possible. I stayed 2 weeks and felt very comfortable and welcomed. I will definitely stay again. Great value also.

Quiet comfortable room in a great location

Nice room in a town house. Parking possibilities in front of the house. We used the small balcony to stay outside. Nice and helpful host.

A bit far from the center but not a problem for those with a car.
