Het personeel was super aardig. Ontbijt ook heerlijk. Prachtig uitzicht. Goede locatie.

We zijn er niet precies achter waarom, maar de kamer was erg vochtig. Daardoor zijn al onze spullen vochtig geworden. We hebben ook gebruik gemaakt van de wasservice, maar de kleding rook niet erg fris daarna.

Everything! This place is SO comfortable, clean, with great views of the mountains from all rooms! I arrived late at night in the pouring rain, disoriented. They immediately handled my luggage and got me comfortable in the room! The room was quite spacious, the bed was ultra comfortable, and the shower had pulsating hot water. The food was out of this world! Delicious, fresh, home made, and customized to your tastes with your favorite dishes reappearing throughout your stay! They even made sure not to make my food too spicy, since I prefer mild foods They also met all my touring needs answering all questions and sending tuk tuk (or taxi) for my particular points of interest! And they bought my train ticket to Kandy through their connections when I hadn't bought one in time and tickets were sold out for the date I needed.Then when I left for Kandy, they sent a driver for me to take me where I was going, and I avoided all the hustling other drivers trying to get the business. The most stunning sunrises emerge each morning, with the birds singing throughout and the morning prayer in the distant background! ... This place was absolutely my home away from home!!

There was nothing that didn't suit me or meet my needs.

- the kindness of the staff: they helped us with tuktuk services; we rented a motorbike from them and we had a flat tire. As soon as we called them they picked us up with a tuktuk and provided a new motorbike; whatever we needed help with, they did everything to make our stay unforgettable - breakfast: just simply: OMG!! Best food we had in Sri Lanka!!! - the location: the view was amazing, everything is close w a tuktuk or a motorbike - the dogs:) cutest dogs looking out for us front of our rooms hehe

Nothing, it was perfect

The place had the most beautiful view to wake up to. Breakfast was one of the best, if not the best one, that I had in Sri Lanka over multiple weeks. Wasantha and Susa made sure that we reached all hikes we needed easily, arranged transportation, and were overall very helpful.

The view over the valley was fabulous.

The bathroom was smelly and very basic. Beasties in the bedroom. Too far to walk into Ella, you need a tuktuk. EDIT: After writing this review we received rude and sarcastic messages from the owner on our phone. Note to owner: We are not the only guests to complain of smelly bathroom drains and insects (cockroaches, mosquitoes, beetles) in the bedrooms. It is not OK to privately harass guests who point this out to other travellers. Some people may be OK with insects and smells, others not. I took one point off for harassment, and removed my comment about a friendly, helpful owner.

Incredible view - worth the outside of town location - so so special. Included breakfast was great and so yummy. The room was so comfortable, peaceful and lovely for my 2 night stay. I could even watch sunrise from my bed. Hosts were lovely and even drove me to my next destination. Highly recommend

Nothing! It was such a pleasant stay.

De eigenaren zijn hele lieve mensen, die je graag een handje helpen. Zo heeft de host ons met zijn tuktuk naar het centrum gebracht en opgehaald. Ook heeft hij de tijd genomen om ons in te lichten over dingen die je het best kan doen in Ella. Verder was het uitzicht geweldig en het verblijf ook. Netjes en ruim. Het ontbijt was ook lekker en je voelt je helemaal thuis in de homestay!

Eigenlijk beviel alles wel. Er was wel wat ongedierte, maar dat houd je altijd wel.

La famille est très accueillante, les chambres sont superbes et la vue est juste magnifique. On peut aussi y prendre de très bons petit déjeuner et dîners fait Maison ! Wasantha nous a guidé et transporter avec son TukTuk pendant le séjour c’était génial !

The location was nice with a short tuk tuk ride to the city. The room was spacious for group of 3. Staff was helpful with bookings.

This homestay just didn’t feel as authentic of others we have experienced in Sri Lanka. For the price we spent we didn’t think the value was there unfortunately.
