Relaxed and comfortable homestay in a nice location The hosts made a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast each morning

A small local homestay, only two rooms offered for the guests. The house is about 5-7 min walk from the lazies surf spots, located in a quiet street away from the crowds. Malika offers amazing breakfast and is always super tasty and huge portions. I had an amazing time in the house,stayed for nearly three weeks. They also offer laundry and rent a scooter.

I was ony my own in the room, the bed was very comfy but might be a bit narrow for two taller adults. Also would welcome table outside the house (there were chairs at the porch). Train passes near the house, so you need to get used to it, last one after 9pm, first after 5am.

A place you wish to be in during your stay at midigama , this people are just amazingly nice ❤️

This homestay is an amazing choice in midigama - close to the beach and surf breaks, down a nice quiet road and a tranquil setting. Not to mention the hosts were amazing, really friendly, helpful and cooked a lovely breakfast for us every day. Can highly recommend

Mallika and her husband are so kind and loving! They make you feel at home and help you out with anything you need. The room was cozy and super clean and the breakfast was cooked with love every morning. It was great to be able to talk about their culture and traditions and the differences with our home country. I highly recommend staying with them if you want the full Sri Lankan experience and specially if you are there for surfing cos the house is 10min walk away from the lazies (great surfspot with an amazing beach).

The place is close to the train, which is loud early in the morning (I woke up at 6:30) So might not be the place for you if you don't like to get up early

This Place is AMAZING!! Malika and her husband are the most welcoming persons ever. Such a heartwarming place, super well located in Midigama in a beautiful street 2 minutes away from the ocean. They have a stunning garden with coconut trees and many plants where you can chill. Malikas breakfast is Sri Lankan food as authentic as it can be - we will never forget that experience and are super greatfull for these days. We highly recommend this home stay with a cute, super super clean room and private bathroom. The two great surf spots are just around the corner and Malika and her husband will try everything to make your stay perfect. Thank you again for the last days, we will come back for sure!!!

The location is perfect for people who like surfing (directly next to lazy left/right surf spot) or people who just wanna be in a nice, calm area with a beautiful beach only 200m away. Mallika and her husband are wonderful people, I had a really nice stay and would recommend everybody to go here! I‘ll definitely come back :)
